Cultural & Diversity Day Celebrates Nigeria's Heritage

Pinnacle of Grace International School's annual Cultural & Diversity Day filled the school grounds with colour, music and the proud celebration of Nigeria's extraordinary ethnic and cultural diversity.

Each class was assigned a Nigerian region or ethnic group to research and represent, leading to a vibrant display of traditional attire, food and performance covering Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Tiv, Ijaw and many other cultures.

The highlight of the afternoon was a series of traditional dance performances by students from across the school, followed by a food fair featuring dishes from across Nigeria. Proceeds from the event went toward the school's annual excursion fund.

Cultural Day is one of the events our community looks forward to most each year. It teaches our students to be proud of where they come from while remaining curious about, and respectful of, the cultures of others.
